To ensure a safe, professional and reliable bidding environment, bidders may be required to pay a warranty for certain auctions.
The standard warranty tiers are as follows:
| From | To | Deposit |
|---|---|---|
| €0 | €100 | €0 |
| €100 | €1,000 | €50 |
| €1,000 | €2,500 | €100 |
| €2,500 | €10,000 | €500 |
| €10,000 | and above | €1,000 |
The warranty can only be paid quickly and securely online during the bidding process. As soon as you reach a higher tier while bidding, the auction platform will automatically ask you to top up your warranty so that you can continue bidding within the applicable limits.
These amounts apply as a standard guideline. Depending on the type of goods, the value of the lots or the specific circumstances of an auction, different warranty amounts may be required.
When different warranty conditions apply to a specific auction, this will always be clearly stated on the relevant auction page and in the auction terms and conditions.
The warranty contributes to a high-quality and reliable bidding environment and is refunded to non-winning bidders in accordance with the applicable conditions.
