For each lot on Auctim, an adjudication type is indicated. This shows how and when the lot is awarded to the highest bidder.
Final adjudication
With final adjudication, the lot is automatically awarded to the highest bidder once the auction has ended.
Temporary adjudication
With temporary adjudication, the highest bid is not automatically accepted. The lot is only awarded after approval by the seller, who may also decide to withhold the lot.
The seller’s minimum price is not always known in advance by the Auctim partner and may depend on both the individual value of the lot and the total proceeds of the auction. As a result, the adjudication of these lots can only be processed after the auction has ended.
After the auction has ended, the Auctim partner reviews with the seller whether the lot or lots can be awarded. In doing so, we aim to facilitate as many sales as possible, within the seller’s conditions and with respect for the buyer’s bid.
If the minimum price is known in advance and is reached during the auction, the status of the lot may automatically change from temporary to final adjudication. This change will automatically be shown on the lot page.
Adjudication subject to a higher bid on the combination
Lots that form part of a combination are first offered separately. Once all relevant lots have closed, the combination is opened for bidding for 60 minutes. The opening bid for the combination is equal to the total of the highest bids on the individual lots, increased by 10%.
If no bid is placed on the combination, the adjudications of the individual lots become final. If a higher bid is placed on the combination, the temporary adjudication of the individual lots is cancelled and all lots in the combination are awarded together to the highest bidder.
