When will I receive my invoice after winning a bid?

This depends on several parameters:

  • Auction Closure: The auction must be fully closed before pro-forma invoices are generated. For auctions with hundreds of lots, the closing process can take several hours to allow all bidders enough time to track lots. The auction can be extended even further if bids are still being placed.

  • Final Adjudication Auctions: Once all lots in the auction are closed, our automated system will send out all pro-forma invoices within two hours.

  • Temporary Adjudication Auctions: After all lots are closed, the seller has 24 hours to approve or reject bids. Once we receive the seller’s decision, our system will automatically send out pro-forma invoices.

In both cases, you will first receive a pro forma invoice, and once payment is completed, you will then receive the final invoice, zvailable in your Auctim account details on www.auctim.com, and you will also receive them via email.

For all payments, please note:

  • If you have already made the payment and still receive a payment reminder message via email, please note that this is an automated message, and it’s likely that the payment is still being processed. Once processed you will receive further instructions via mail.
  • Make sure your payment is made in its entirety. Partial payments are not accepted, and the full sum should come from one transfer.
  • No use in calling to verify a payment—our automated systems check the payment status constantly.
  • Payments typically take 1-2 business days to process, depending on your bank.
  • Make sure to use the correct payment reference provided in your invoice to avoid delays.
  • If your payment is still pending on the collection date of the purchased goods, contact customer support with your payment confirmation / proof of payment
