After attending a viewing, I want to remove or change my bid. Is that possible?

The rules and regulations around placing a bid do not change with whether or not you attended a viewing. Inspecting a lot in person is highly recommended but not mandatory to participate in an auction.

depending on the type of bid you placed, certain changes can be made:

  • Static Bids: If you placed a static bid, you cannot remove or lower it. Make sure you are confident in your bid amount before confirming, as static bids are legally binding. More information about static bids can be found here

  • Auto Bids: If you used the auto bid feature, you can adjust your maximum bid amount. However, keep in mind that this can only be done under certain conditions, and your auto bid will automatically increase only up to the maximum amount you set if you are outbid. More information about auto bids can be found here

It's essential to carefully review the item during your inspection and consider your bidding strategy before making any decisions.
